From Incline Village to Lake Tahoe’s West Shore and up to the ski resorts, Property owners and managers rely on North Lake Tahoe Cleaning to keep their property’s carpets professionally clean. Carpets in the Lake Tahoe region take a beating. From our guests tracking in the beach sand and winter gunk and everything else that happens between morning coffee and evening wine, our Tahoe carpets see it all. Fortunately, we have also removed it all.

Our carpet cleaning services use a hot water extraction technique, often referred to as “Steam Cleaning”. While steam is certainly a bi-product of the process, the steam is not used to clean. Our mixtures of carpet cleaning solutions specific to the need allow us to safely remove dirt, spots, odors, and allergens without leaving behind any residue.

North Lake Tahoe Cleaning Carpet Cleaning FAQ

Why do I need to clean my carpet in the first place?

Cleaning carpets make for a healthier home environment. With Tahoe’s low humidity and numerous pine trees, dust and pollen are continually settling into your carpets which get recirculated into the air every time you walk on your carpets. Having your carpets cleaned can get up to 94% of the dirt and allergens out. Cleaning your carpet can also help increase the life of your carpet. With all the Tahoe sand we track into our homes each particle acts like sandpaper and can shorten the life of your carpet.

Will you move the furniture before you clean the carpets?

Yes, and there is no additional charge. After the cleaning is complete, we will return items back to its original place leaving protective padding as needed. We do ask that you remove small and breakable items before we arrive. We cannot remove or move large items including but not limited to: beds, dressers, large tables, pool tables, pianos, etc.

How long will it take to clean our carpets?

Depending on the size of the home or office, the amount of soil and staining, and the amount of furniture to be moved it will take anywhere from 2-5 hours.

How quickly will my carpets be dried?

Fortunately, we live in a very low humidity environment which greatly helps decrease the dry time. Depending on the time of year, the availability of ceiling fans in the house, and the amount of liquid needed to remove stains and soil, dry time can be anywhere from 8-24 hours. Don’t worry, you can walk on the damp carpets after cleaning…just make sure your feet or shoes are clean and try to keep walking on them to a minimum.

What else do I need to know?

We can add a Teflon protectant to your clean carpets to add a liquid and soil repellent to each carpet fiber. Not only will this help keep stains off your carpets, it will also help prolong the life of your carpet and increase the time between carpet cleaning. If you are having us out to clean the carpets for your vacation rental home this is a no brainer.
